After six whole weeks of being stuck inside, we wouldn’t blame you for going slightly stir-crazy.
After all, there's only so many hours that can be occupied with podcasts, procrastination and the occasional power nap.
But that’s where we can help, helping you get active through our new online workouts feature.
Live Online Workouts: Helping you stay home and stay active
Like many other companies, we too have adapted.
We are still a free fitness app, but are now giving our audience the ability to easily discover and join a range of online workouts, that can be completed in the comfort of your own home.
Here's how it works
1. Discover a range of sessions from our featured workouts
2. Join the ideal session for you and check the details
3. Jump straight in and get your fitness fix
But what exactly are these online workouts?
Well, we are here to highlight a few of our favourites, all of which are available to discover on the app.
Yoga
Now, most people have heard of yoga, but a surprisingly low number of people have actually tried it.
Whether it's the effort of signing up for a subscription or the intimidation of turning up to a class for the first time, it seems that some people aren't getting into this amazing physical activity.
But now is the perfect time to try it out!
Instructors such as the Open Minded Fitness Group and Blok London are live streaming free yoga sessions every week, so now is the best time to give yoga a go.
Dance
While some of you might already be spending lockdown wildly dancing in your kitchens and living rooms, there are also dedicated online classes too.
Whether it's ballroom dancing with Anton Du Beke, or something more fast paced with school of SOS, there's plenty of options to choose from.
You don’t have to be a great dancer, after all who is going to see you?
There are plenty of options to choose from on the app, so get your groove on and start busting some shapes in the comfort of your own home.
Full Body Workouts
Not for the faint hearted, but full body workouts are great for some serious physical exercise.
We have options both with and without weights, and a range of muscle group workouts, all guaranteeing huge exercise benefits.
If you’re missing your weekly gym classes then an online full body workout is definitely the next best thing.
Whether it’s an early fitness boost from Kate Rowe-Ham or an after-work blast with Ben Dobrowolski, we’ve got you covered.
Meditation
If you’re looking for something at a slightly slower pace, then why not try some meditation.
An activity for the body and the mind, meditation is a great exercise to do after a stressful day, or as a great start in the morning.
Groups such as Beeja meditation have livestreams every single day, offering a nice break from your busy schedule.
Child-friendly Workouts
Getting active isn’t just for adults, and we are certainly aware of all the families in lockdown.
And what better way to bring the family together while also getting healthy than an hour of exercise?
There’s of course the nationwide daily P.E class with Joe Wicks taking the country by storm, but also sport specific classes such as rising stars football and Laura Malcolms netball sessions to choose from.
There’s no excuse for the whole family when it comes to live workouts, especially with Orfi Active.
So there you have it, just a few of our favourite workouts available right now to discover and join through the Orfi Active app.
If you haven’t already, download it from the Google Play store or the Apple app store to get started.
It is still unclear how much longer this lockdown will go on for, so now is the perfect time to get active through a range of fitness workouts.
